Novrex vs Zoho

Zoho is broad, well priced and genuinely good at what it does. The trade-off is that its breadth comes as a suite of separate applications you connect. Novrex is narrower on purpose: one system for Indian trade and distribution, where the lead, the quotation, the stock reservation, the invoice and the ledger entry are the same record rather than a sync between apps.

Written by Novrex. We have an obvious interest — so we have said plainly where Zoho is the better choice.

Where Zoho is the right answer

  • You want a very wide toolset — CRM, books, desk, projects, HR, mail — under one vendor and one bill.
  • Your operations are simple enough that app-to-app sync is not a source of error.
  • You value a large partner ecosystem and a long product track record.
  • Budget is the primary constraint and you are comfortable assembling the pieces.

Where Novrex fits better

  • Trade-specific workflows out of the box — shade lots, slab tracking, rack and bin, architect referrals — rather than fields you configure yourself.
  • One record end to end: no sync step between CRM, inventory, billing and accounts.
  • Sits on top of an existing Tally deployment instead of asking your accountant to move.
  • WhatsApp conversation charges billed at Meta cost with no platform markup.
  • AI agents that reason across sales, stock and finance together, because the data is already together.

Questions people ask

Is Novrex cheaper than Zoho?

Not necessarily, and it depends what you compare. Novrex starts at ₹1,000 per user per month for CRM and ₹1,500 for the full Trading ERP. The saving usually comes from not paying for and maintaining several separate applications and the integrations between them.

Zoho has more products. Why is that not simply better?

Breadth helps when you need the breadth. It costs you when a lead, a stock reservation and an invoice live in three applications that have to agree with each other. For trade and distribution, that disagreement is where the money leaks.

Can Novrex do everything Zoho One does?

No. Zoho covers ground Novrex does not — helpdesk, projects, mail and more. If you need that spread under one vendor, Zoho is the better answer.
