Novrex treats every outlet (warehouse, store, regional office) as a first-class entity in the inventory layer. Stock is tracked per outlet, never aggregated by default.
Setting up outlets
Go to ERP → Outlets. Add each location with its address, GSTIN (if registered separately), and a unique code. The code is used in branch transfer documents and SKU tracking.
Branch transfers
Move stock between outlets via Inventory → Branch Transfers. The transfer document handles GST implications automatically — internal transfers within the same GSTIN are non-taxable, while inter-state or inter-GSTIN transfers generate the appropriate tax invoice.
Reorder points per outlet
Set reorder points per SKU per outlet. Each outlet can have its own minimum stock level based on its turnover patterns. Low-stock alerts fire automatically and can be routed to the outlet manager.
Stock visibility
The Inventory dashboard shows real-time stock across every outlet. Filter by SKU, outlet, or stock status. Available-to-promise calculations factor in committed stock from open orders.
